Summary

Loudgrain does not collect any data from the app. It has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking SDK, cloud database, or developer-operated server connection. All measurement and planning runs entirely on your device.

Your audio

Audio you add is decoded and analyzed locally with Apple's AVFoundation frameworks. Loudgrain does not upload your audio, copy it off the device, or send it to any server. Analysis happens on device and your source files are never modified.

Information in the app

Your batch of measurements, computed loudness and true-peak values, selected targets, and settings are stored locally in the app's container on your device. Robert Corbin does not receive or access this information.

No account and no network

Loudgrain requires no sign-in, credential, or purchase beyond the paid App Store download, and it makes no network connection to operate. The bundled sample and target presets are authored in-house and ship inside the app; there are no downloads or remotely unlocked content.

Permissions

Loudgrain does not request access to the microphone, camera, location, contacts, health data, Bluetooth, or photo library. You choose audio files through the system file picker, which returns only the files you select. The app presents no protected-device permission prompts to operate.

Exports

The only user-directed outbound action is an optional text report. When you choose to export a loudness report, Loudgrain hands the plain-text report to Apple's system share sheet and you pick a destination. Loudgrain does not upload reports automatically. The destination you choose may process the file under its own terms and privacy policy.

Backups and deletion

Your device and operating-system backup settings may include local app data. Deleting Loudgrain removes its local container, subject to device backups or reports you previously exported. You control exported copies at their destinations.

Children

Loudgrain is a technical audio tool and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

This website

This website uses no analytics, advertising, account system, or cookies set by Loudgrain. It loads no third-party fonts, scripts, or trackers. Cloudflare hosts the site and may process standard network and security information to deliver and protect it.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed behavior is released. The effective date above identifies the current policy.
